Which safety training will an employer ask for?
Before your first day, many employers and agencies want to see that you know the basics. Find out what applies in your country and job — and check yourself for free.

Who has to train you?
In Ireland the employer must give you instruction and training for your job (Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, section 10). Having your own certificate can still help you start faster.
