How we research

Every guide starts from the law and the regulator, not from a course.

Sources

We use legislation, official regulator guidance and the bodies that run national schemes. Each article lists them with a link.

Check dates

Each article shows the date its sources were last checked. When a rule changes, we update the article and the date.

No invented figures

We quote numbers only when an official source states them. Where a rule is unclear, differs by sector or is being reformed, the article says so and points to the source.

Languages

Guides are written in the local language. Articles in other languages include a short English summary.
