Ireland · Manual handling
Do I need a Manual Handling certificate to work in Ireland?
Who must train you and what the law actually requires.
English
If your job involves manual handling with a risk of injury, your employer must assess the tasks and give you information and training specific to them (General Application Regulations 2007, Reg. 69). The law does not require you to bring your own certificate, and the HSA does not approve or endorse individual training programmes. Training must be task-specific.

Our Manual Handling course in Ireland includes a practical part.
