Questions managers ask

What should a useful training record contain?

Record the person, role, learning language, topic and date. Add evidence references, workplace checks, the reviewer and any further action.

Should we record kitchen induction separately?

Keep it visible alongside course completion. Separate entries make it easier to see which procedures were discussed and which checks remain open.

How should we record a different learning language?

Write down the language used and any practical support provided. Record how understanding was checked at the relevant workstation.

When should we review the record?

Review it when duties or procedures change, or when a check identifies further learning. Use actual certificate details and your own review arrangements.
